Dahlia Copper Boy

$14.00
Out of Stock

Ball form, 3” (7.5cm) diameter blooms
Plant height 3’ (0.9m)
Hybridizer: Sturm (Netherlands)
Year Registered or Introduced: 2021

A must-grow. Flowers are a hard-to-describe combination of dark red and raspberry (but not copper!); the petal tips are lighter, which gives the blooms a hue-shifting quality. Nearly everyone who sees this variety in our fields exclaims at how unusual and beautiful the colour is. This plant is on the shorter side, but produces prolifically, and we get lots of long-stemmed cuts if we start cutting flowers deep and early.
